What If you were about to Die?

Hi Folks!

This beautiful morning, I have a question to ask (in fact, you should ask this question to yourself each morning and see the way it changes your perspective towards life, towards your day…)!!

Yeah! An Important Question it is :p

So, the Question says,

If today were the last day of your life, would you want to do what you are about to do today?

Blank?

Did it leave you blank for a moment? Read it again: “If today were the last day of your life, would you want to do what you are about to do today?” Just a simple ‘Yes’ or ‘No’??

Let me simplify it a bit more:

  • Are you happy doing what you are are doing today?
  • Is this all you want to do?
  • Is this where you want to see your life going?

If Yes…

Good going. Keep it up! Share what you are up to in the comments below and let your words inspire us all…

If Not…

Give yourself a thought. What are you doing with your life?

Many people (most of us) spend their days saying, “I’ll do this once I settle.” or “Just an year more and I’ll set on a journey to my dreams.” or as we heard in the quotes between Arjun n Laila (played by Hritik Roshan n Katrina Kaif) in the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Arjun: “Ya, well that’s the plan. I’ll retire at 40…n do blah, blah, blahs…”

That was pretty relateable, isn’t it? I have personally met many who find it acceptable to let go of your wishes and desires in the present for attaining something in the future. Aspiring for a bright future and a good retirement plan at 40 is good but, you must not forget the significance of your present either.

Laila: “How do you know you will live till 40? Seize the day my friend!”

Think about it. What if one day you wake up to realize that you are going to die soon? Your life is ending? Sounds scary, right? Yes, it is scary!

But then, it’s the truth. Life is like a “ticking time bomb” (you don’t even know how many counts remain). With every passing moment, you are heading towards the end. Rather than cribbing over petty things like how dirty that puddle water is, how messy is your roomie, how ‘sadu’ is your new boss or how you find your life going nowhere, be grateful that at least your life is still going!

Life is too short. Don’t just think. Start acting now. Start following your heart. Start doing what you Love. Life is all about the small and big pleasures that come your way. Grab them. It’s often these little pleasures that add to the quality of life and make your life worth living!

So, what are you going to do today? Take your precious two minutes and share your plans for the day… Let’s hear in the comments below what we people love doing like I love writing, talking to you folks, that’s what am doing! ;). What do you love???

Stay tuned, keep reading, keep sharing and let smiles shine…:)
